Superb country estate of 2 properties, equestrian facilities, 25 ha of land, small lake, woodland, an old millers house, little river, swimming pool, 2 barns and another little cottage currently being used as a games/fonction room. Lots more to see and superb views and extremely private.
This property is situated in a wonderful elevated location with views across its own partly wooded river valley and stands about one mile from a little village. In the village is a creperie, bakers, village hall, library and infant school. There is a lovely community spirit in the village which makes it a homely place to be part of.
In the town of Guemene there are four restaurants, two banks, two Doctors, Dentist, Vet and Insurance Agents and an Intermarche Supermarket. It also has a weekly market and every year holds a big carnival with floats from all the surrounding villages.
This is an exceptional property situated at the end of a half mile no through lane and set in acres of grazing and woodland with private hacking tracks with direct access to miles of forest trails. There is a small lake with two little islands, the river runs through the property and there are the ruins of a mill and Miller's House.
There is also near the main house a wonderful stone cottage which is partly renovated with stone floor, new roof, electricity and water laid on.
The Main House dates from the 16th century and is built of massive granite stone walls, some are three feet thick. It has been renovated sympathetically and is a stunning house, warm in winter and cool in summer. It is private and secluded yet within walking distance of the village. It is set in an outstanding area of beauty but only a 35 min drive to the south coast beaches, and under two hours easy driving from the ports of St Malo and Roscoff.
